I did it again at 16, 19... and honestly, after that I lost count! Every country, every culture, and every person I met along the way shaped who I am today.

Australian reverse immigrant who returned to my grandparents' homeland and has now been living in Italy for nearly fifteen years. With over 20 years of experience in travel operations management, I'm also the proud mother of two Generation Alpha children.
Like many parents, I worry about the state of the world, which is why I'm especially proud to work on a program that helps shape the next generation of healthcare professionals and, in its own way, contributes to making the world a better place.

One of my favorite parts of my role at Doctors in Italy is being among the first people students connect with, helping them feel informed, confident, and excited as they prepare for their journey to Italy.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors and caring for our pets and farm animals.
Fun fact: I grew up in the Chicagoland area, so you may notice my Midwest accent! These days, I split my time between the United States and Europe.

Our story
It started with one student who just kept asking
In 2017, a pre-med named Jordan was studying abroad in Rome, constantly asking anyone who would listen: does anyone know how I can get shadowing hours? Eventually someone said yes.
I left Rome with a completely different idea of what my future could look like, and a newfound love for global healthcare I didn't even know I was looking for. — Jordan Myers, now a resident physician
The Fellowship launched in 2018 — created by Doctor Today and accelerated by Bocconi University — because one student went around asking and someone finally said yes.
